Subject: Thank you and I Bless you and your staff on this Forth of July Holiday for a Patriotic Act well done.
I’m referring to your staffs’ quality editing job of my letter to the Voice of the People, published June 25, 2005 which your paper titled “Quit protecting cardinals”.
Although your team edited out much of my emotional hate I still want you to congratulate them for allowing the phrase “molested and or raped”. Allowing the word raped reinforces why Cardinal Roger Mahony’s legal team(s) might not want the information of accused priests released. I’m sure that Mahony’s legal teams realize that politicians, the Pope and newspaper reading people worldwide, don’t want to view in their minds a child being “raped” by a priest. Thus the legal team feels cunning that a judge will uphold the Mahony’s request to keep the secrets hidden.
It’s patriotic that a newspaper takes a STRONG stand to help the children and stop Mahony from hiding behind the word molested. Now we need a STRONG patriotic Judge willing to help the children by removing the bliss of ignorance from our politicians.
Thank you also for not editing out the fact that the Billion dollars used to protect rapists priests could have been used to help children in Africa.
Mr. Bob Baizer and others receiving this letter. I understand that you may not have been able to read my letter as it appeared in the Sun’s VOICE of the PEOPLE so I have typed it below. I also included a second letter about Cardinal Roger Mahony.
This second letter was written on Fathers Day, June 19, 05 as a gift for children. I wrote the letter after seeing Brian Lamb, interview Bethany McLean, on Q & A.
http://www.q-and-a.org/Transcript/?ProgramID=1027Bethany McLean is author of “The Smartest Guys in the Room”. The title of my second letter is: “Cardinal Mahony: The Smartest Guy In The Church”.
Bethany Mclean is now a senior writer for “Fortune” magazine and she broke the Enron scandal. Mr. Lam asks Bethany McLean what story she will investigate next and she replies, the next big story.
VOICE of the PEOPLE
Quit protecting cardinals
California judges and lawmakers continue to be more protective of molesting priest and Cardinal Roger Mahony than the children who are molested and or raped.
For example, the Los Angeles Archdiocese still faces 544 sexual abuse claims, and Mahony’s lawyers now have turned the documents over to a judge with the orders not to release the information, because it would violate confidentiality between Mahony and priests.
This lack of information given to us Catholics, who do not cherish the bliss of ignorance, leaves us pained and angered by hypocritical politicians, news media and religious leaders worldwide.
The church has spent more than a billion dollars protecting molesters and their bishops and cardinals. This billion dollars could be used to help children in Africa. Mean while, the church’s lawyers are still continuing to fight legislative reform and aggressively keep secrets hidden.

Second letter about Cardinal Roger Mahony
“Cardinal Mahony: The Smartest Guy In The Church” can be viewed at my web blog at:
http://misleading-america.blogspot.com/2005/06/cardinal-mahony-smartest-guy-in-church.htmlBecause of the seriousness of the subject matter I again send letters about child molestation. Remember molestation could mean rape, but without the written documents we “protectors of children” will never know how sick and or evil some of the representatives of the Catholic Church are. Failure to demand laws by politicians for such documents is a sickening disillusionment to ourselves.
This disillusioned sickness can grow in our minds every time we refuse to demand that our politicians investigate and SHOW us the facts, of what sometimes seems to be the fine line between truth and lying.

To Whom It SHOULD Concern:
Subject: “Cardinal Mahony: The Smartest Guy In The Church”
If I was a member of one of the many Law Firms representing Cardinal Mahony in the child molestation cases, I would suggest many types of diversionary media tricks in order to divert the attention away from Cardinal Mahony.
Example: Provide behind the seen FREE legal services for witnesses, which then could create false evidence to start prosecution procedures against Michael Jackson and Robert Blake.
Example: Hire worldwide promotional firm(s) for Jackson’s fan clubs and other public figures/religious groups who would demand worldwide media attention.
Isn’t Anybody Sorry? (See Brian Lamb interview with Bethany McLean)
If I was a member of a moral society and I wanted to get the word out about such possible diversionary tactics by Law Firms representing the Catholic Church, I would email this letter to newspapers, writers, web blogs, and use regular mail also. When NONE of my mailings receive a reply, not even a “thank you”, and I have forced myself to rule out the Internet intolerance/patriot act conspiracy, I then would revert to prayer by placing God’s Curse Of Justice on the above referred to evildoers.
This, possible sarcastic appearing gesture of prayer, is done in order to show the helplessness in which I, and society in general, have sunk in disrespecting the Catholic Church. Because the leaders of prayer must be prayed for, shows societies mockery of prayer?
Sincerely,

Since my alleged (5years) Cardinal Mahony’s Media Trick scandal, the LA Times has had 4 different Chief Executive Officers.

I use regular mail in the event of the stoppage of some of my emails that are being sent to Arab news outlets. I say this because sending scandalous information about a Christian religion to Arab news outlets, might be interpreted as if I’m helping the enemy, thus in violation of the patriot act.
I wrote that last sentence not totally sarcastically. I say that because of my previous encounters with Congressmen Sensenbrenner’s abuse of power in legal manipulations that he had brought upon me. This abuse of power and my prayer to curse Sensenbrenner can be viewed on my web blog at:

Dear Editor and Poets and Writers Executive Director Elliot Figman editor@pw.org
Subject: Ethics in editing letters to the Editor.
Should the editor ask the letter writer if the editing that was done is acceptable to the letter writer before publishing? Or should the letter writer be forced to accept the ethics of the publisher?
To me it seems that ethics in writing is like ethics in religion and political beliefs. Take it or leave it because it’s a game and you don’t have to play. We’re a sick society and need to admit it in order to solve the problem, just like drunks need to admit their sick.
Professors, religion and political leaders, whatever they may say, are fundamentally afraid of living in a democracy, where people think for themselves rather than letting experts do their thinking for them. This fear is a scandal at the center of the current-day publishing. Though many professors claim to be on the left, the fact is that they do not trust, or sometimes, even much like, everyday, relatively unschooled people like me. In fact, they tend to despise the people on whose behalf they claim to be working.

Letters to the Editor & more specifically Mr. John P. Puerner LA Times Chief Executive Officer and Publisher.
Good Job LA Times:
I figurer if I read the LA Time long enough I would come across something that states direct efforts by Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony’s, to protect Priests who raped children. So again I say good job to LA Times editors for allowing Steve Lopez to sneak in a well-deserved slap in the face to Cardinal Mahony. I referring to Lopez’s front-page article dated 4, 20, 05, which was dealing with Godlessness. The next step is creating laws that prevent Mahony and the Catholic Church’s law firms from out maneuvering molestation investigators. Perhaps no nonsense, former Hitler Youth, German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, might put Mahony under the integration light of slick maneuvers. God is not the only one who knows that nice guy, Pope John Paul II, could NOT handle American’s slick maneuvering Cardinals.
Personally I believe nice guy Pope John Paul II was a coward because he placed too much emphasis on the reputation of the church, rather then protect the children who where raped by American priests. The Popes nice guy actionlessness/Godlessness, about priests raping children and the cover-ups with payoffs to victims, is a legacy deserving of hell when; combined with the Popes nice guy symbolic communications about the millions who starved to death in Africa during the nice guy’s reign. Nice guy Pope John Paul II talked politely about the Millions starving to death in Africa and “the media reported it politely/Godlessness.” Reported it politely, as if America Christians didn’t have the Billions to spend on starving Africans. The fact is American Christians found it necessary to spend Billions on a war and the spending of Billions on the war continues, those starving to death in Africa continues too. I suspect Pope Ratzinger well also be a silent Christian, thus submitting his legacy as an application for hell too.
We’re a sick society and need to admit it in order to solve the problem, just like drunks need to admit their sick.
Sexual Godlessness molestation laws need to be changed so Cardinal Mahony and Cardinal Law can be further investigated and prosecuted. If I remember correctly one Senator in CA wrote a law that permitted two extra years for DA’s to make their investigations about rapist Priests. That’s the way the LA Time wrote about it, as if the Senator was doing the public a great services by changing the laws and giving two extra years for the investigations. The two extra year law lacked seriousness because law firms supplied by the Catholic Church just dragged out the procedures two more years. I think that the LA Times reported something to the fact that the law firms under the guidance of Mahony, redistributed church assists so rapists priests that where found guilty had few available assists in their districts, so layers representing the raped children no longer pursued the rapist priests. Our CA Christian Senators failed to make laws to stop Mahony’s redistribution of assists and those Godlessness loopholes in the laws prevail today. To me the Pope also coward to Mahony’s abominable acts because the Pope’s effort to support the raped children was too silent. I can’t recall reading in the LA Times or viewing on C-span, any serious verbal assault on American Cardinals by Pope John Paul II. John Paul was a nice guy, if you weren’t the one being raped by “his priests”.
Point being is that the two years where not a benefit as the CA Senators and LA Times made it out to be. The law was a way of escape for Cardinal Mahony to hide and protect rapist Priests. “I don’t believe our CA Senators are that stupid as if not to know that.” The citizens of CA certainly are stupid or else where looking for any reason to postpone the rape trials in hopes they would die down and go away in their minds. We the people are cowards NOT to stick up for the raped children. Evil appears to be doing well and strong in California if we think realistically and not positively. Hell, I just lower my expectations and I can do both.
Priests raping children is old news but that doesn’t mean the fight against homeland-evil should stop. Praising Pope John Paul as a Saint would be like saying Cardinal Mahony and Cardinal Law are “holy” respectable members of the Catholic Church.
We Catholics and non-Catholics are cowards to confront priests and cowards to fight Cardinal Mahony, politicians, and the news media. I pray I’m wrong when I say that many in the Christian Coalition are abominations in the eyes of the Lord.
Luke: Chapter 16 verse 15 reads:
God knows what is in your heart. He who is exulted in the eyes of man is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord.
Sincerely,

Subject: Media’s spin keeps child molesters out of jail.
We don’t have laws sending child-molesting priest to jail if the church pays off the abused child? We don’t have tuff laws sending Catholic Cardinals to jail that obstruct justice by hiding these child-molesting priests? Why, because the public doesn’t demand it? Why doesn’t the public demand it? I think it’s because of the Media’s spin of emphasizing the money rather then the suffering of the child.
EXAMPLE:
LA Times article dated April 21, 2005, Page B3 by John Glionna and Lee Romney.
In very large bold type the headline reads: 4 Awarded $5.8 Million for Abuse
When you get to the end of paragraph seven it reads: “Some plaintiffs were molested more than 700 times, often in the presence of one another.”
That’s $2,071.00 for each of the 4 abused children, if you don’t go MORE than 700 times and only take off one-third for attorneys and all other expenses.
The 4th paragraph reads, and I’m paraphrasing slightly, that more than 750 cases (the number is closer to 2,000 rather then 750 if my readings of two years ago is correct) have been brought against the Roman Catholic dioceses in California, two-thirds of them against the Los Angeles Archdiocese, which is controlled by Cardinal Roger Mohony, and this is only the 3rd sex abuse case to go to trial.
Because of the Media’s spin, I reasoning that no Catholic priest in Cardinal Mohony’s Archdiocese has ever gone to jail for child molestation. Now that statement should get people very upset, but in its place people will get mad at me over my last paragraph in this letter and forget about the pain given to the children who are molested, and forget the fact priests and or Mohoney will not go to jail. You will forget the pain of the children because it will be more comforting to replace in your mind that I unjustly insulted CA’s Senators and Governer, just like it’s more comforting to think that the molested children got millions of dollars.
We in California don’t have strong laws that send child-molesting priests to jail because our two female Senators don’t have the balls to make tuff laws and our Governor doesn’t mind taking it in the girlyman. Your mind is now spinning and you’ll grab the comfort.
Sincerely,
Carl G. Mueller, Nam 68
